Summary: This lodge exceeded expectations. The pictures just don’t do it justice because you have to be here to appreciate the beauty of the property. What we look for in rental is cleanliness, comfortable beds, convenient location and good communication with the owner/manager. We found all that and more. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch, the peaceful scenery, hearing the birds and watching the deer and turkeys come through. There is a bit of distant road noise. The location was very convenient for the purpose we were in the area for. I would have appreciated a small bureau in the bedrooms rather than living out of our suitcases but that was a small inconvenience for the overall good experience. The only thing I would change is somehow turning off, blocking or dimming the light from the mini-split which was too bright for me at night. I am admittedly a finicky sleeper. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely choose to stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Summary: Our stay over the 4-9th of August was wonderful. Mark was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during the stay. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed throughout the duration. Excellent location and close to everything and we even had your own private wildlife viewing in the evenings from the deck. Easy Check-in and Check out process..Would definitely repeat and recommend the stay at Tree Farm Living!!!

Summary: We’ve stayed here twice. It is a fantastic place. Love the setting and the surrounding neighborhood. Drinking morning coffee out on the porch, staring out into the pines was so relaxing. The property is well taken care of. The owners are friendly and easy going. Definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling to the Black Hills.

Summary: We loved this house and how quiet the surrounding area was. This was our last stop on our Black Hills trip and it was close to all of the places we planned to visit: Devil's Tower, Spearfish, Deadwood, Lead, Sturgis, Bear Butte, Belle Fourche, etc... The house was perfect for us as the kids could have their own space and we had our own space when we needed to nap or just wind down from driving/hiking. It was nice to have a full kitchen and a laundry area. If we ever make it to South Dakota again we'll keep this on our list of places to stay. Thanks for a perfect vacation rental!

Summary: We planned a trip to visit various locations in South Dakota and Wyoming. This was a perfect location located close to Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Spearfish, and Deadwood. My favorite part of the house was the porch and we had many deer and turkeys visit us while we sat outside. The house was nice and clean and had all the things we might need for our trip.
