Summary: I stayed in the Treasures of Andros. Definitely exceeded my expectations. First off the owner Trevor was there waiting my arrival. That was awesome. I was lucky to get an upgrade that I was not expecting, the Emerald Bungalow was very nice. The location is beautiful and right on the water with a nice little beach (very clean) steps out the back door. There is also a very nice restaurant a few doors down from the unit- Brigadiers. I would definitely recommend staying at the Treasures of Andros. I will be back.

Summary: Treasure of Andros has a beautiful ocean front view blue waters gallore, we took advatage of everything they offered fishing, kayaking, dining. Mario our host went above and beyond normal stays weve had to make sure we had a great experience. The cottage rental was very clean, its location is between a creek and the ocean, kayaking the creek gave us alot of nature views including rare turtles, birds, nature at its best as it leads to a beach at the mouth of the ocean. The rental has small shopping amenities on site as well as dining. It is located within 10 minutes of other dining and shopping, there is a gas station within 10 minutes as well just South of Sammys Bar and Grill "wich has great views of the ocean". If your staying awhile and want to pickup food to cook at the unit travel south 10 minutes there 4 stores along the route. First store on left going south is Express Buys in town is Andros Distributors, next to Andros Distributors is another store, just around the corner is Gaitors Variety Store, wich has food supplies, bait, and you can order some grilled food in the back of Gaitors. There is plenty more shops in either direction. Overall our stay was very pleasent the people were very nice traffic is not heavy you can enjoy your drive going anywhere. You can relax on the beautiful beach there no downside for this place . Me and my wife plan to stay again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our villa/duplex opened right onto the beach. The amenities were great (it's nice to pop your towels in the dryer) and everything was clean. You can't beat the view. If you're not much for cooking yourself, Brigadier's is at the end of the block and has excellent food (and drinks!). Mario was very helpful and always available if needed. The island and its people are very relaxed and slow paced. No one is in a hurry. Everyone is friendly. I was a bit nervous about driving on the left for the first time, but you see so few other cars that it's pretty easy. I joked with Mario that I just had to drive like a local, which means down the middle of the road and if you see someone coming, dodge to the left. Fortunately, the Queens Highway has been recently repaved. A couple things to consider if you're thinking of coming to Andros is provisions and power. The grocery stores are more akin to a large convenience store. We preferred Gaiter's, but Mabel's was more convenient. Also, in our 6 days/5 nights we only went one 24 hour period with uninterrupted electricity. The outages lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or so. Some locals we talked to said it's not uncommon but seemed to be happening more often lately. Perhaps they're working on the grid like they are working on the roads. Andros is a wonderful, beautiful island, and it's hard to beat The Treasures for a place to stay.

Summary: Enjoy the magnificent turquoise water and fiery sunrises from the deck of this beautiful cottage, that is literally on the beach. Coffee on deck, watching the sun come up is beyond discription. Even if your not and early riser you won't want to miss this spectacular event each morning. If you are fisherman, it's a very short walk down the beach to an expansive bonefish flat at the entrance to Davis Creek. The cottage is convienient to everything, has all the amenities, and the washer and dryer are a major plus! But the biggest plus were Trevor and Mario who are a phone call away and ready to answer any question or resolve any issue you may encounter. They are simply the very best!!!! Joe, Tammy and Molly

Summary: I stayed at Treasures of Andros the 1st week of Feb 2018. I could not have been happier choosing to stay at Treasures for my part DIY, part guided bonefishing trip. Mario was incredibly helpful checking me in and he was also there in no time when I locked myself out :) There were no little bars of soap in the bathroom or mints on the pillow. Thank God because that's not the type of place I was looking for. I spent the majority of my time at the property on the deck and walking the beach. I literally had the entire beautiful beach to myself the whole time! The unit was very clean and I was more than comfortable. Trevor scheduled a rental car for me as well as arranged an insanely incredible fishing guide in Shawn Riley who got me on several fish, in the off season. Brigadiers Restaurant is only a few doors down and definitely worth the visit to feast on some locally caught conch. I will be staying at Treasures again. Thx again Trevor & Mario!

Summary: My stay at Treasures of Andros was great! I spent 16 days days in this beautiful location in the Fresh Creek area. There are 3 cottages all right next to the water so everyday and night you can hear the waves right up to the porch area. Especially at night, siting outside on the deck overlooking the Atlantic was memorable. Also get up early and check out the sunrise. I stayed in the 2 bedroom but I did see the other two cottages also. All were well equipped ( good size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove , pots and pans, dishes) with everything you need to eat every meal at home. But there is a nice restaurant just a few steps away that has good food and bar. Washer and dryer were provided also. Internet and Cable TV were fine. I did not rent a car but you can through Trevor who makes sure your visit is comfortable. If needed Mario will take care of any problems or concerns you might need. The beach is super and I spent many hours walking the area. It is truly a relaxing and sress free time. I would go back , but rent a car the next time as basic grocery supplies/ liquor store are a good walking distance away. Also I need to say how nice the Bahama people are to everyone. People always wave, say hello etc. You feel like you are truly appreciated to visit Andros. I have never been called SIR so many time in my entire life. Wonderful trip! Writing this makes me want to return right now!

Summary: We stayed for about 10 days and the cottage was clean and comfortable. You see the surf right from the livingroom door, and the cluster of cottages nearby are not so crowded that you feel surrounded, but not so empty that you feel abandoned. We loved living right off the beach, feeling the ebb and flow of the tides and the weather. The first few days the sea was calm and *v*e*r*y buggy! But then, the wind kicked up, the bugs disappeared. We had a large screen TV with cable, WIFI, comfortable sectional couch, air conditioning in the bedrooms and our own washer/dryer. There was no housekeeping service, blender, or BBQ grill. The kitchen was very barebones basic, which was fine with us, there was a coffee maker, gas stove, microwave and an electric can opener. We rented the truck which came with the house that got us around very well in the terrain. We actually did go crabbing and Mario very kindly supplied us with a crab bin to use for the fattening up period before we made crab-and-dough with them, which meant that we had crab "pets" for a week. The dogs were a great team going up and own the beach doing security, and never entered the house unless invited. We loved the cottage, it was perfect for us. It is about a 5 minute dive from Small Hope Bay Lodge where we did a lot of diving. There was some snorkeling a bit from this cottage, in sporadic clumps of coral. It's about a half an hour's drive to Captain Bill's Blue Hole and also Rainbow Blue Hole Trail -- great to take a dip on hot days when the sea is unpleasantly stormy. Finding groceries was a challenge for us, as we are programmed to look for a big supermarket -- like it or not here on Andros you can't go to one place to buy everything you need. But you get to know people in the process and it all adds to the experience. FYI Mabel's grocery gets fresh supplies (like vegetables) on Fridays, try there after 1pm. Also, plan on going to the ATM at the bank rather than trying to cash a check there. And gas is currently about $6 a gallon. Inside the cottage, a local cellphone is supplied to make local calls, along with some local phone numbers. There are also detailed maps of the area showing local restuarants and stores. A new restaurant and several cottages were building built during our visit, which are much finer. But for me, this was a great buy!

Summary: We stayed in the older two bedroom cottage, attached to the one bedroom. We got a late start due to snow storms in Boston! Our cottage could use some updating, but despite that we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. Mario and Princess responded quickly to our requests and are very pleasant and helpful, as are all the local people we met. We had a clunker car which I think is needed to explore. Will not repeat the information others have shared, there's lots to see, but you have to travel. The roads have lots of pot holes, but you get used to it and end up driving like the locals(or I did)!! We brought some of our own food and condiments and ate out at Hank's and The Conch Salad takeout and Conch burger place next door. DIY bone fishing is fantastic, Tommy Kee took my husband out and he had a great day. The weather was not ideal, cool, very windy from NW/N/E, so there was no snorkeling which bummed me out and too windy to really kayak near the coast. You can walk the beach forever at low tide and fish off the beach or the new long dock next door. The separate newer two bedroom cottage was the best from my perspective and the man living in the "Pink two story" house next door is building 3 new villas and a restaurant on that road. It looks like development is picking up and tourism as well. The bugs definitely bite, deet worked for me, that's what I had. Others have suggested Skin so Soft or a daily antihistamine. Our neighbors were very nice and helped us to locate very good diy bone fishing places. Andros is an interesting island with lots of character. It is rustic still, but we like that. two grocery stores with adequate supplies. costs are higher for some things, not as bad as the US Virgins. We look forward to going back in a couple of years. The dogs were very nice and protective.
