Positive: I stayed at this hotel just a week ago and had an overall positive experience. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing me an early check-in after a long flight around the world. This gesture truly made my day, as waiting for a late check-in would have wiped me out further. The room itself was pleasant for a single traveler, and the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding, easily earning five stars out of four! The food was exceptional, and the service matched its quality. I plan to return to the area just to dine there again! The included breakfast was also fantastic, featuring a well-laid-out continental buffet with smoked meats, eggs, muesli, and yogurt, all fresh and delicious. Despite the discomfort of the bed, I found the room to be very quiet, allowing me to sleep well after my exhausting travels. Overall, I am grateful for the hotel staff and their efforts in making my stay relaxing and rejuvenating.

Negative: One major downside was the bed, which felt uncomfortably thin and, well, "German"... ;) The bed was like sleeping on a rock with a smidge of foam padding. This isn't isolated to this hotel - it is something I've noticed in my stay in German hotels around the country over the past thirty years; though I do wonder why the Germans seem to favor such hard mattresses. A memory foam option would make a world of difference in comfort. Additionally, I found the shower to be quite small, making it a bit challenging to get cleaned up; though the water pressure was fantastic and after my long days in transit, the shower felt much like a touch of heaven.

Positive: We booked this hotel as one night stop-off on a long drive. It was easy to access from the autobahn with parking on site and had excellent facilities including a very good restaurant. The latter was very important as we did not want to use the car after a long drive to go out to a restaurant. Comfortable clean rooms with ensuite. Very good breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

Negative: Nothing.
