Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakeside haven less than 20 minutes from the airport. This home sits between Lake Ontario to the north & Cranberry Pond to the south. Beautiful open layout. Wake up in the master bedroom with stunning views of the lake. Enjoy cooking in the open kitchen with amazing views of the pond and the lake. The break wall on the lakeside allows you to walk right down into the lake to enjoy the beauty and refreshing cool of the water.
Entering the home, you will have space to leave coats and shoes in the foyer. Directly up the stairs, you will enter the open layout living, dining and kitchen area. The lakeside of the home is a wall of windows that allows breathtaking views of the lake. In addition to the many windows, two sky lights also allow a vast amount of natural light into the space.
The living area is complete with 2 queen size sleeper sofas as well as 1 full-size sleeper sofa. There is plenty of room to relax along with the additional space for more guests to sleep. Going back down the stairs, you will find a half bathroom, a full-bathroom and two bedrooms.
The smaller bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds and is a great room for children. The larger master bedroom has a beautiful view of the lake and space for a king-size bed as well as a full-size sleeper sofa. Guests can also be provided with a pack-n-play if traveling with an infant or toddler.
The driveway is large enough to accommodate 3 vehicles. Parking is not available on the street, so only 3 cars be kept onsite overnight. Guests also should not use the garage and will not be provided with an overhead door opener.
Our home is lived in - and used frequently by many people. Despite professional and regular cleaning, the downstairs carpeting has signs of wear in all high traffic areas.
Guests should understand while the home as beautiful views and great amenities, not all areas of the home have been remodeled recently. However we keep everything in good working order with regular maintenance.
We have wonderful neighbors - but they do NOT expect to be bothered. They enjoy the tranquility of the lake so we expect that all guests are respectful of their privacy and their property. Guests should at NO time be in the neighbors lawn or near their boat deck. We are in contact with our neighbors, and if that occurs, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund given.
Living on the lake - guests need to also understand there are many bugs and spiders that will also be joining them outside while on vacation. Although we do have a professional company to spray regularly, we can't stop nature.
The fireplace is currently NOT working. Unfortunately the unit was damaged during a recent stay and will not be available for use until further notice.

Summary: This cottage home was quaint, very warm and welcoming and had amazing views of Lake Ontario. The host provided coffee, toiletries, a well stocked kitchen and lots of extras. It was the perfect place for our sisters weekend. :)

Summary: The house was clean, just as described, and had all the little extras! They thought of everything; such as individual milks to go with complimentary cereal, laundry soap, dryer sheets, etc. You can tell they actually put thought into what their guests may need. Will absolutely be back next time we come home to Rochester.

Summary: The views of the lake were beautiful and could be seen from everyone on the first floor. The house so cute and decorated perfectly for a lake house. The owner is wonderful and had amazing communication with us. She has also thought through everything that is needed for the stay, including coffee, tea and snacks. We loved every second of being there. We hope to come back again!

Summary: What a great house on the lake. Only 2 Bedrooms, but can sleep about a dozen. They have these cool Serta sofa sleepers that covert to beds and better than a traditional uncomfortable sleeper sofas. Nice outdoor sitting area and deck, although little cool to enjoy. Kitchen and baths were well stocked a lot of extras. Pretty close to town for restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again if we are coming back to the the area. everything was well marked for cupboards and light switches.

Summary: We loved our stay at the lake! It truly was tranquil! Leslie was quick to reply to any questions we had and truly created a home away from home. We did not want for anything! The house was well stocked with needed supplies, offered washer and dryer, and extra toiletries if we had forgotten ours. Kitchen cupboards were labeled making it easy to find everything. And kitchen was well stocked! This house was great! We look forward to staying again. Thank you Leslie for an absolutely wonderful stay!

Summary: Home was as described in description. Plenty of space and beautiful views! Highly suggest getting up early to watch sunrise with your morning coffee! Took several walks to swimming area just down the road. Also enjoyed playground down the road and some fishing! Great weekend to relax and recharge before the new school year!
