Summary: This was the perfect place for 3 brothers in their seventies to get together. We all attended a wedding in Humboldt and staying at the Tranquil Lakeside Retreat was perfect!

Summary: We are electrical contractors and had a job in Milan. Found this property and rented it instead of a hotel so our tools and truck would be safe. The guys loved the house. It had everything they needed. Thank you!

Summary: Our six-night stay was actually BETTER than being at home -- because of luxuries like the soaker jet tub, outdoor grill, gas fireplace, and a sublime view. The house was stocked with every comfort, more than we needed or were used to, and Pam and Jim were the most generous and gracious hosts, making our family feel like family. The decor alone was sumptious and soothing. Although we were in town out of necessity, for a funeral, we would go out of our way to stay here again. We partook in perks from playing the piano, sampling the games provided, and walking the expansive property, communing with nature and the resident donkeys! Thanks so much for a memorable, hassle-free stay.
