Positive: There was plenty of space for my family. The kids loved playing pool and we definitely utilized the pool area even though it was raining. They have items for the guest to enjoy such as floaties and bicycles w/ helmets. Very thoughtful. The house also has plenty of household items such as plates and cooking items. Really everything you need to prepare meals on site.

Negative: The only thing I would recommend for future guests...There were no cleaning supplies. The only cleaning item were dishwasher pods. It would have been helpful to have a bottle of cleaning solution so we could take care of the everyday cleaning. There was some dish soap in the dispenser on the sink with one "older" sponge so we made do with what we had. They supplied plenty of trash bags though so that was nice. Bring some extra toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning solution.

Summary: Perfect family vacation home to reconnect with quality family time.

Positive: We liked the set-up of the rooms. We liked that there was a room with 4 twin beds that is perfect for teens. We liked that the master bedroom was a king bed and loved the big rain shower head. Every room had a tv with plenty to watch. We loved that there were plenty of linens and a washer and dryer. We didn't use the bikes but it was a nice touch. The casita and basketball hoop was a nice addition. It gives teens a separate place to hang out. The comforters on the beds were top of the line.

Negative: Suggested improvements and concerns: I reserved this location due to the pool as it is 90 degrees in Houston right now, however, we did not get to use it, as 1 day before arrival the owners said that the pool "was in need of a repair and there were heavy chemicals" so we couldn't use it (I suspect this may be a commonality for this house). The pool slide is a liability and appeared in need of repair (sign said "out of order") so I would remove that. I would add a memory foam pad to the master bed because it was pretty hard. The fence was severely damaged and propped up with support boards so it wouldn't fall over and a huge eyesore with numerous holes and needs replacing as well as the back walkway which had a couple broken boards. The exterior was not well groomed like the interior of the home.

Summary: interior was well equipped but last minute notice that we couldn't use the pool was unacceptable
