Positive: What a beautiful stay! Kim and Erik were absolute stars! Assisted us to get the hot tub started while we were away. Kim is fast in her replies. Place was easy to find and check in was smooth with Kim waiting to greet us :) Everything about the stay was perfect! The bed was comfy. Parking right outside our door. The hot tub and sauna is completely private and is yours alone. The views were nothing short of magnificent! It was a beautiful and relaxing weekend for us. Of all the places we’ve visited around the world, this one was by far one of the most memorable ones. We will definitely be back in the spring!!

Positive: What a lovely experience of Italian countryside! The views from all sides of the property are magnificent! Unfortunately, remote locations come with a downside of being remote … power access limitation meant that we had to be careful about using too many appliances at once. The kitchen cupboards are well stocked with equipment to cook. Unfortunately there was no microwave (I think that might have been associated with the power issue). Also there was no washing machine, but Tamara did offer to wash our clothes for a fee (we managed by hand washing a few things and carrying our laundry to the next stop). The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great sleep each night (one of the most important things a tourist wants on holiday). Tamara (the owner) lives in the house next door and is very happy to help with anything we needed…though with such a well set up little Casetta we had no need to bother her.

Positive: Tamara and Albert are friendly, nice and helpful. They did a great job in rebuilding the property. We liked the pool and the terrace. Enjoy a dinner in the pergola with view of the sunset over Gran Sasso. That are magic moments! Tamara is really a fine cook. Her pasta dishes are very good and her 5 course surprise was great. I even got a candle as it was my birthday. And dont miss the breakfast served on the terrace! So tasty and carefully arranged - you can notice that she loves what she is doing. We liked the presence of the cats and the friendly dog.
Negative: We were on a long trip through Italy so we found the casetta quite small for us and our luggage. It is nice but has almost no storage room. The aircondition could not compete with this years heat wave. Wifi did not work.

Positive: Tamara and Albert are great hosts! We stayed in the Casetta (separate house). Fantastic views. Very quiet. The Casetta is very comfortable and has everything for self catering. But, Tamara makes great pastas and a unprecedented breakfast, served on a grapevine covered terrace with view on the snow covered Gran Sasso. If you are in to hiking or even mountaineering, Albert can take you there. It was a bit too cold outside for us to use the wellness facilities, but they looked tempting. The lounge beds and small “infinity” pool make this oases in the Abruzzo hills complete.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: Luxury, wellness, great hosts, magic views of Abruzzo hills.
