Positive: It is a lovely little cottage in a quiet area near the canal so easy access walks for the dog but also close to Cwmbrân if you are after shops restaurants etc.

Negative: My husband has a bad back and the beds are very soft I realise this is a personal preference but that is the only bad thing really.

Summary: Restful, relaxing, family and fur baby fun!

Positive: Beautifully clean. Safe enclosed garden for our fluffy cobberdog, friendly hosts, Beautiful canal opposite for family walks. Great location for cardiff and Barry.

Negative: We didn't like leaving, wish we had booked longer!

Positive: Quiet and spacious. Nice sunny garden. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy sofas and a lovely dining area. Lovely location.

Negative: We didn’t find any good pubs or eateries in short walking distance. (Some good ones along the canal like The Open Hearth in Sebastopol, but they are quite a long walk away.)

Summary: The cottage worked really nicely as a base for two couples to explore the locality.

Positive: It’s a lovely little cottage, perfect for our small family and dogs. Living rooms and bedrooms were lovely. Enclosed back garden its perfect for the dogs and kids. 1 minute walk to the canals which was a lovely walk down the pubs. Has everything you need 👍🏿 We would definitely stay again, and would recommend

Negative: The property wasn’t very well cleaned, smelt very doggy when we walked in. Bathrooms is in need a being redone, very DIY and poorly finished. Kitchen again very DIY finished. The windows and doors look tired. If the kitchen and bathroom were redone it would be perfect 👌🏾 But forgetting these point, we loved our stay and would stay again when we return 🥳

Negative: The kitchen needs improvement, the internet kept dropping out the TV was tiny,bathroom was really damp which made it smell and could certainly do with a deep clean. Next door is being renovated and we were woken every morning at 07.15 when the builder started work and the oven was dirty

Negative: There was a few cobwebs on the spot lights and visible mould in the bathroom. also in bedroom 2 which looks to the front of the cottage, the bottom sheet was stained.
