Positive: Good location. Cottage owners were friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. Had a good selection of appliances (dishwasher, fridge/freezer, etc.).

Negative: There was a smell from the boiler when it came on. We made the cottage owners aware and they were apologetic, explaining that it was an intermittent problem that they thought had resolved when the boiler was serviced.

Positive: Great location just a couple of miles outside Kirkby Stephen, Very quiet and peaceful, owners are extremely helpful. Great entrance hall for cleaning muddy boots and paws. comfortable lounge diner with a cosy log burner although there was also central heating.
