Summary: Lovely property, great sized room. Very clean all the amenities you could need. Very helpful and quick response from hist to any questions. Easy to walk into York centre. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend.

Summary: The location is really good. Its just a short walk into york. Free parking was a bonus. The room itself was nice but the pictures advertised on Expedia were definitely a false representation of the actual room. I chose the room as it stated it had a four poster bed and a bath with jets. Image my disappointment when i walked in and found a normal bed and a walk in shower with no bath in sight. I spoke with the owner who seemed unaware the rooms details had not been updated. He offered me a full refund so i could look for alternative accommodation (on a bank Holiday weekend) or a slight discount. Obviously after travelling i wasn't about to start looking for accommodation when i had already spent quite a bit of time selecting what i felt was the perfect place. Everyone was very nice but i paid a lot of money for something i didn't actually get. Also it states the rooms have soundproofing. This is most definitely not the case. The walls are thin and you can hear everything that is going on outside your room. Overall it is a nice place just a very expensive and disappointing experience

Summary: We arrived around 11:00 am, even though it was too early for check in. The owner allowed us to go ahead and park (for free) and he took our luggage up. We made the walk to town in 10 minutes. When we returned that evening, our luggage was in our room and the snacks and wine we brought were in the fridge. The room was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Noise from the street was minimal. We will definitely stay again!!

Summary: The room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It was in a good location with parking available if needed. The only problem I had was getting into the building, it took me several attempts using the code provided but I am not the most tecnologically advanced human so It was probably my error! Perhaps a better light in the entrance proch would help?

Summary: The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend staying here.
