Positive: Old Soviet hotel but newly renovated. Staff spoke good English and went out of their way to help.

Negative: Horrible coffee made out of powder. The bakers/cafe nearby had the same so I suppose that it is normal. Bring your own if you are fussy.

Summary: Great value and easy to get everywhere.

Negative: They are in renovation mode. Beds are noisy and dilapidated, rooms even without even a small teapoy to keep your items. No lift to climb that five story building in a case your room is allotted atop.
