Summary: You could not have a more central place to explore Bilbao. Close to all public transport. Great facilities, washing machine, full stove. i stayed one month. Mikel the host was always helpful, available and willing to share knowledge of area.

Summary: We had a great time here last week. Mikel was a kind host and spent almost an hour explaining the best things to do in the city and how to travel around cheaply. There is a great view over Bilbao from the apartment and we had some amazing sunsets. The apartment has a variety of dvds, computer games and books in several languages. I feel the apartment was exceptionally good value, especially compared to hotels and other apartments at a similar price point in Bilbao. The apartment is centrally located and on the edge of the old town (Casco Viejo), so it is very convenient to return to the apartment during the day and head out again. Although it is on the top floor on a hill, there are public escalators on the hill, and there is an elevator in the building.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay in Jon Mikel’s appartment. The appartment was nicely furnitured, very well equipped and very clean. Jon Mikel was the best host we ever experienced. He gave us the best possible information where to go in Bilbao and surroundings, supplied us with a prepaid card for the public transport and was extremely attentive in any respect. If we could give six instead of only five we would give them for this location. This is the place to go!!!

Summary: Nice and cosy top floor appartment (with lift) right next to the old town and with a Carrefour supermarket at the start of the street. The appartment is well equipped and has nice views. It is a little walk up hill but there is an escalator part of the way. The area is not good for parking so we parked at Saba next to the train station a good 10 min. walk away. Mikel welcomed us and gave us tips for sightseeing with reference to his fine and abundant collection of turist brochures.

Summary: The apartment is as the pictures show. It is a great place for a single person like me or a small family. The elevator makes it easy to take your luggage in an out. The location is perfect for getting around the city. Jon Mikel Aquirrre is a most accomodating host. He was available to me for a problem I had and made it much less stressful. Thank you Jon Mikel, you make travelling the reason people travel. Sincerely Gay Ann
