Positive: Great location. Amazing staff. Food was superb. We had dinner and breakfast prepared for us, and it was exciting and delicious. The room was clean and large enough to spread out. Great value for the money and would happily stay again.

Positive: Staff was exceptional; super friendly! Sushi dinner was amazing/offered a private room to enjoy our meal. Would have liked to sit at the counter but we were not feeling well. Breakfast was delicious! Breakfast and dinner were included in the room package we selected. We really enjoyed the size of the room; very spacious and beautiful; we had an ocean view room. The highlight was the in-room onsen/bath - just fabulous! We were able to relax and felt much better after our stay. The front desk host arranged our taxi to the airport and even came outside to say goodbye. Just amazing service! Will definitely be back to enjoy a longer stay.

Negative: Everything was exceptional! No working elevator at the time. I felt bad for the staff to carry our heavy luggage upstairs but again, very helpful!!

Positive: The breakfast was amazing with many unique dishes. The asari clam miso soup was perfect. There were numerous little dishes that were unique in the special assortment that came in a “treasure” box. The grilled fish from the region was also a treat! Oh and the dessert was a special sorbet made with brown sugar from Okinawa. The rice was cooked in a special clay pot and the rice was grown in the area which is Chiba prefecture. Yummy! Our dinner was extra special and I recommend that you choose to sit on the counter. The master sushi chef presented us with various sushi explaining each one. It was so special and the chef was so kind and made sure that we enjoyed his creations. What a special and relaxing place to visit. Oh and the private onsen in your room is amazing. The view looking across Tokyo bay was also memorable. It was cloudy when we were there but on a clear day you can see Mt Fuji from your room. This place a a hidden gem!

Negative: It’s a little off the beaten path and it took almost two hours by train from Tokyo but it adds to the charm.
