Positive: The location was beautiful - quiet and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the inclusion of shampoo and conditioner was amazing. The view from our bedroom window was lovely. Breakfast was nice - cooked fresh. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Negative: The price for the room was expensive. It wasn’t the Ritz. But I guess holiday season allows price hikes.

Positive: The location was lovely and, had it not been the weather, the outside areas looked like they would have been very pleasant. Breakfast was nice and provided a good start to the day.

Negative: The room was very cramped with my partner struggling to get into the shower. There was no air conditioning which would have been an issue in hotter weather. Bearing that in mind, I think the price was probably about 50% more than a fair price.

Summary: A quaint property in a lovely location only let down by the size of the room.

Positive: The staff were very helpful . The property looked clean and new.

Negative: The lounge was not cozy enough. The seating should have been arranged so the sofas looked out the window to the loch. The breakfast tables were not big enough as you had to constantly move things around to fit the breakfast on it. For the price, it was not good enough.

Positive: I had initially booked into Toravaig, but due to maintenance there I was reallocated a room at Duisdale House Hotel (there sister hotel). The room and the service were exceptional! I left without taking my coat, having accidentally left it in the wardrobe - there was one member of the Reception Team who I liaised with to arrange it's return to me. I felt they really went above and beyond to do so and I was very grateful. Based on my experience I would be very confident recommending both hotels..

Summary: Excellent location, excellent service and a relaxing experience.
