In our holiday home, located directly on the beach, we offer 2 apartments. Both apartments are located on the ground floor of the holiday home.
The equipment: Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchen with oven and dishwasher. A washing machine is also available.
Each of the apartments is suitable for a family (2 adults and 2-3 children).
Air conditioning, internet, satellite TV, large garden, outdoor grill and free parking in front of the house are included in the price.
The distance to the beach is only 20 m. The beach consists of fine, white gravel, some with sand, and is very suitable for children.
In the center (approx. 300 - 500 m away) you will find various restaurants, shops, street cafes and ice cream parlors.
We also have beautiful small bathing bays, which are also nearby and are easily accessible on foot.
You have the option to rent both apartments together.
Ivana beach house
The holiday home is located in southern Dalmatia on the Makarska Riviera, in the middle of Mediterranean nature. Two apartments are located on the ground floor of the holiday home and can be rented together or separately. Both apartments are air-conditioned, which are ideal for families with and without children, friends, smaller groups, seniors and couples. The house is nestled in an idyllic bay right in 1. Row by the sea, so that a large, natural swimming pool is practically on the doorstep. Beautiful, long dream beaches made of fine white pebbles are the figurehead of the village of Zaostrog. In front of the house is a Mediterranean garden with a large terrace equipped with tables and chairs for guests. Here you can read a good book, enjoy a glass of wine, watch the sunset or just listen to the sound of the sea. Sun loungers and parasols are provided. The beach is also very suitable for children and non-swimmers. The hidden bathing bays with crystal clear water, in which nudism is also tolerated, are in the immediate vicinity. Loneliness and closeness to nature are wonderfully combined. The beach promenade starts right in front of the holiday home and invites you for evening walks, where you can enjoy the excellent Mediterranean cuisine or a glass of wine in one of the taverns, cafes or restaurants along the sea.
Only a 10-minute walk from the holiday home you will find shops such as a grocery store, a fruit and vegetable stand with a rich, fresh selection and a post office. In front of the house is a small bakery with fresh bread and rolls.
A private parking lot, where your car is safely parked, is in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home.
Getting there:
The place Zaostrog is quite easy to reach by plane, car, bike or also by public transport. It is located exactly between Split and Dubrovnik. Split Airport is only 90 km away. You can also rent a car directly at the airport and reach the holiday home in about 2 - 3 hours. The journey by car from Munich takes about 8-10 hours.
Excursion destinations in the area
The Makarska Riviera is centrally located and offers everyone who does not just want to spend a beach holiday numerous opportunities to go on various excursions and sightseeing.
The city of Dubrovnik (World Heritage Site) can be easily reached by public bus or by car in 2-3 hours. The journey along the picturesque coast, always with a view of the crystal clear sea and the mountains, is a wonderful experience.
Hikes and mountain bike tours can be done off the beaten track.
During the summer months, numerous sports opportunities such as B. Pedal boating, jet skiing or boat trips to the beautiful islands, Hvar, Korcula, Brac or the Peljesac are offered.

Summary: We hired both apartments, one for my parents and the other form my wife and I and our girls (3 and 1). The apartments were perfect, suitable for young children, with a grassy area to play about in, the beach only 10m away. High chairs and and a travel cot were provided. It was clean, fast internet and everything we needed to eat in. We also ate out at the local restaurants, which were also very good. Ivana and her husband often called by to ask if we needed anything and were very attentive. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend the apartments and Zaostrog, which is perfectly located to explore the beautiful Croatian coastline down to Dubrovnik and up to Split.

Summary: We recently spent 14 nights in this apartment and we cannot praise it highly enough. Once booked, the property owner kept in contact and prior to our holiday, sent us a very useful information pack with details on the apartment and local area. The property manager met us promptly and the property was as described - and in fact exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and stylishly furnished. It held all we needed to have a very comfortable stay - including all kitchen utensils. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others - it's definitely the nicest self-catering accommodation we have experienced. It had everything required for a superb holiday and was close to the town center/beach area. There is no doubt that we will be back. Thank you!

Summary: My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in July and had the best time!! The apartment was exactly how described on the website, really modern, really clean . The area itself feels really safe and the apartment is secure. On arrival there was greet us and show us around the apartment which was really helpful. The owner is really good at getting back to any queries you have before arrival. I would definitely recommend this property . Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks!!
