Positive: Location was great. Owner was friendly and quick to respond to our questions

Negative: The home needs updating. All walls are wood panelling and carpets need to be replaced. Furniture is old and worn. Bathrooms and kitchen need to be remodeled.

Positive: The location is impossible to beat. Haystack Rock is across the street. The pub next door had such a fun atmosphere. The coffee shop down the road was so cool. The grocery market right nearby was pricy (to be expected in it's location) but had everything we needed to make a family meal. The kitchen was well stocked down to a lemon zester. My absolute favorite part was the wildlife- there were elk taking naps in the front yard and the wild bunnies ate carrots out of my kiddos hands. We took walks around town and on the beach every afternoon and evening. So very relaxing!

Negative: It's an older house. If you are looking for high-end luxury, this isn't it. I thought everything was so charming, down to the old board games and books available.

Positive: Location was great. Cleaners did a great job. House is well supplied.

Negative: The shower in the second bathroom was not usable. The room needed painting. The house smelled like mothballs until we aired it out. You should not advertise that it has a fireplace if you do not allow it to be used. You could say "decorative only". You need a manual on how to work the television system. The many notes you left should be typed and placed in a plastic sleeve. They don't look good and are getting dirty.

Summary: We enjoyed the stay and did not mind how dated the house was.

Positive: I loved the Airbnb experience, and I loved how seamless the entire transaction went and how everything was ready. I didn't need to physically check in or out which was great. The host gave us the door lock code to get in and out. I came with 6 friends and we each had a place to sleep in. The free wifi was also plenty fast. The location of this specific home/cabin was next to the beach and there were domesticated bunnies running around the area. The interior the home was very comfy and it came with everything needed to cook, and clean. The TV is a Samsung smart TV but I opted to bring my own fire stick so I didn't really get to use the apps. But I like how new the TV was.

Negative: Nothing, everything was great 10/10

Positive: Great location. Excellent wifi. King bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Very roomy home. Laundry facilities available. Comfortable atmosphere, like a grandma's house. Good coffee pot. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Heat worked well.

Negative: Out dated a bit, especially big bathroom. Could use a little TLC and new shower head. No hair dryer although said there would be one. I didn't bring my own for that reason. Could use a little instruction sheet on TV usage. No fabric softener sheets were left in laundry room. The automatic air freshener on the mantle was empty but it would have been very helpful as the house does have a old musty smell.

Summary: Better than a motel for longer stays

Negative: Obviously furnished with 2nd hand furniture - nothing really matched. Dark inside. Showing signs of wear. Strange backyard - large greenhouse locked. User (renter) of greenhouse was surprised we had not been informed about it. On arrival, back bedroom and bath had not been cleaned. Had to wait for cleaning service to arrive. Note on kitchen counter on what cleaner was suppose to do.

Summary: It was just OK - fortunately we did not spend much time in the house.
