Summary: Fantastic studio apartment close to the harbor with shops and eateries. The property had great hiking trails with incredible views and a private rocky beach with tide pools. Only downside was a lumpy bed-not great for a good night’s sleep!

Summary: Warm and friendly hosts nothing too much bother yummy breakfast the rooms are immaculate….. cosy comfy beds what else could one ask for???? I added another 2nights to my booking as didn’t want to leave

Summary: What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.

Summary: This break away from it all was jlexactly what was needed. What's not to like, the setting with a burn running by and peacocks. The apartment was lovely clean and even a little fabulous. We were well cared for by our host too

Summary: I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Breakfast was prepared fresh, and was very good. I would definitely go back.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Toadhall B&B! We were warmly welcomed by our host, Angela who made us feel quite at home. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! I loved the rain shower in the bathroom. We certainly slept well during our 2 night stay. Dinner recommendations were excellent and on point. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. This morning, she served us baked peaches with a maple sauce, which was incredibly delicious! There are peacocks roaming about and 2 cheeky geese that were very interested in getting their treats. What an absolute delight for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will not hesitate to book again when we are in the area!
