Couples retreat! Self check in to our Tiny Home with a door code and let the Big adventures begin! Only minutes from Indianhead, Blackjack, Big Powderhorn & Mt. Zion ski hills. A bit further away, but worth the drive, are Whitecap Mountain and Porcupine Mountains. Also, close to ABR x-c skiing, the Iron Belle Trail, and Lake Superior. Winter Hikes are beautiful in the U.P. Bring your fur babies along for a winter hike to the Porkies, Lake of the Clouds or Black River Scenic Byway.
The space
Inside the Tiny home is a quaint space to snuggle up with fur blankets, enjoy high speed internet for streaming movies or just enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee or cocoa. You can choose to cook your own meals in the small kitchen or explore a couple of our favorite restaurants such as Jagger's Ore House right down the street - Great food, cool historic ambiance and friendly service or visit the Iron Nugget in Hurley, WI - just across the border and a 20 min drive but will not disappoint!
Important Considerations:
A $35 pet fee per pet will be collected separately after booking. Please let us know the type of pet, name and size so we can make the proper accommodations.
Tiny home means Tiny Space = 4 rooms with a total of 400 sq. ft.
Wall mounted gas heater is the main source of heat in this tiny home and caution should be taken with small children and/or pets.
There's lots of snow and ice in the winter. Even though we try our hardest to keep the drive and walkway clear, we may not be able to get there after a big storm or snowfall.
This is an older house and with that comes a few imperfections but nothing that will prevent you from having a great stay in the U.P.

Summary: Overall it was good. We brought our dog and with the leaves all over the yard it was not easy to clean up after her. The place had plenty of room for our quick little getaway. We went to Dans antiques, a lunch outing one day and a picnic at Little Girls Point on Lake Superior. A good time was had by all.
