Summary: Pros- Multiple beds available for kids/small family, excellent breakfast with quality food, peaceful location and comfortable beds. Cons- Light streams through in the morning so kids are up at the crack of dawn. Reception not very helpful with things to do even when asking for suggestions.

Summary: First off, my thanks to Mark for all of his help. We called in on our way to the resort because we were severely behind schedule, and Mark was reassuring and helpful. He explained the late check in process and gave useful directions for locating the front desk when we arrived. Everything he described was spot on when we arrived a few minutes before midnight, and we were able to get to our room and settle in for the night. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area the next morning was peaceful, spacious, and comfortable with a range of choices including hot eggs, tater tots, sausages, and bacon. It was a relaxing way to start the day before we continued our journey across the Upper Peninsula. We would definitely consider staying at Snowriver Mountain Resort again if we were passing through.

Summary: Our room was very clean and organized and the kitchenette had a handful of useful items. Pizza cutter, pots pans. Staff was friendly breakfast was crazy good for a free breakfast. Very pretty area at the end of a dead end road. Our only complaint would be the walls are thin here. Everyone staying was polite and respectful just easy to hear through walls.

Summary: Stayed here as a pit stop on a multi day travel trip in the off season (summer). Scenic property with very clean rooms. Breakfast was very good and cooked fresh. I didn't realize that the front desk isn't staffed starting at 8pm (very clearly stated on our reservation, I just didn't read it), so I was worried when we arrived at 8:30 to check-in, but there was an option for self check-in that worked great. Hot water took a while to heat up (again, we were there in the off season) but had no issues once it got hot! Would definitely stay here again!!

Summary: There was no one on duty at the front desk during our entire stay. We followed instructions in an envelope left for us to obtain our room key, etc. We had no hot water in our room. Although the lodge was basically empty, they gave us a room on the third floor, and there was no elevator, so we had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs.
