Traditional Property in the beautiful island of Tinos.Stone and wood come together in a fantastic mixture of tradition and efficiency (Reg No 00001001463)
Just 5 minutes from the best beach in Agios Sostis,still up to a small hill with diirect view to Mikonos & Aegean
Ideal for families as well as couples, or even for friends coming to Tinos.
Main property comprises of a bedroom in the basement with a double bed. Bedroom covered with stone. In the basement we also find the living room with the kitchen, the main bathroom and stairway to first floor. Not to forget the fireplace. On the first floor we find the second sleeping area with two single beds and its own aegean bluecoloured bathroom. Terraces all around lead to the external fully ecquipped separate studio (different level - independent), for two people in twin beds, separate kitchen and bathroom. The studio entrance is about 10 meters from the main entrance in a different level. Please note that the studio remains closed when the rental is targeted for up to (4) people except if otherwise agreed.
Property on a small hill with unique view. Away from the crowd, guaranteed privacy but still just 5 minutes drive from a village with mini market, baker etc and 10 minutes drive from the city centre. Not to forget that Tinos is an island of zero criminality.
Come to Tinos by sea (from the port of Rafina: 2 hours by speed boat and 4 hours with the ferry, from the port of Mikonos: half hour by speed boat and 1 hour with the ferry. Rafina is close to Athens International Airport and Mikonos has its own international airport)
The property stands at just 10 minures drive from the port / city centre. Car rental is strongly advised for your transfers especially in summer. Please book early. There is a bus every appr. hour and half from Agios Sostis to the port / city centre and back. The bus stop stands about 80 from the property down the hill.
Please note that cleaning is not included . The property is being managed by an estate company. Accepting of the rental proposal concludes a civil rental of property for civil use under the Greek Law (Property Registry No 00001001463). Residential services, breakfast or other tourist services of any kind are not offered.

Summary: The house is decorated with taste but we would no recommend it in August, as the heavy wind gusts (up tp 80km/h) impeded us to enjoy the place. After two days, the wind became so strong, that we could not stay outside and enjoy the terrace and beautiful view. The wind was tiring. The house must be very pleasant in other seasons, as everything is of good quality (except the matresses) and decorated with charm and taste. Washing instructions in Greek.

Summary: The house is traditional and retains many features and its character but has been renovated to modern standards without losing any of its considerable charm. The furnishings are classic and comfortable. The decor has loads of lovely traditional Greek and Tinos touches. It was great to have two bathrooms. The pictures don’t show how much space there is. The views from all the terraces are stunning. There is quite a steep but short hill to get to the property which was a bit daunting to drive up the first time but we got used to it after that. You can easily walk to Agios Sostis beach and there are buses but we had a car and that’s probably the best way to see the island. Tinos is literally one of the most picturesque islands we have been to and we have been to a lot of the Greek islands. We intend to come back here as a week was not enough to explore fully. Gorgeous beaches; some organised and some wild, and tiny, sleepy medieval villages many with great tavernas with views out to sea. And the countryside is sprinkled with ancient towers, windmills and dove cotes for the vast white dove population. There are lots of walking trails to see all this wonderful scenery. We were lucky as it was not very windy when we were there. Dimitri was very responsive and helpful indeed. He speaks great English and communication was easy. Highly recommended.
