Positive: We really enjoyed our stay here and Rose went well out of her was to make sure our stay was memorable. The hotel is on the west side of the old city and only a 2 minute walk away. Rose organised a taxi from / to the railway station which helped us a lot. The rooms are quaint with everything one would need. The English style breakfast was served in the downstairs dining room, heated by the log fire.

Negative: Not much to say here except the stairs to the second floor are a little steep.

Summary: Great spot to stay. Will definitely stay here again

Positive: This was such a cosy, quiet and congenial homestay. Owner Rose made me feel very at home. She was fun and interesting to talk to (really good English) and she helped organise day trips and transport. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the nightly Tibetan dancing square and the North Gate, close to loads of restaurants etc. Highly recommended.

Positive: Rose and her husband speaks very good English and they gave me a lot of advices for my trip! The room is very quiet, you can't hear a single noise at night and is warm ( I stayed in one of the coldest month!), I had the best sleep in my whole trip! The location is perfect, you can walk to everything you need to see! Perfect stay, I wish I had stayed longer!

Positive: Great service- Rose was very helpful and answered our queries readily!

Negative: There was a door separating the washroom from the bedroom, but it was difficult to close and both of us could not close it even with multiple attempts. One window leading to outside was also difficult to close (probably needs some oiling)

Summary: Great location, would stay again but wish that the facilities could be somewhat improved
