Summary: Incredible spot. The place was awesome - just like the pictures. Very clean and well-stocked. Amazing location in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance from the beach and from Manuel’s and Marianne’s. We’re a long-time Aptos fam who moved away recently. Came back for our grandma’s memorial service and thought it might be our last gathering in the area. But we loved the place so much we’re going to make it a regular trip to stay at Tiki Tides. The hosts made the weekend really easy and were very accommodating. We’re so grateful and will definitely be back. One of the best rental homes we’ve ever stayed in.

Summary: Beautiful home and backyard! When we arrived, there was a hot tub technician cleaning and filling the hot tub so it was very clean and ready to use later that night. There is not beach access near the house, but you can either walk or drive to the SeaCliff state beach entrance (10 minute walk or 2 minute drive) and then take a long staircase down to the beach. The stairs would be challenging for someone with mobility issues or who is not in good physical shape. You can also pay a fee to park close to the beach without having to use stairs. No bonfires allowed at Seacliff, but there are fire rings at Rio Del Mar right next to Seacliff beach during late Spring/summer months. Cute little restaurants and cafe nearby house within walking distance. 10 minute drive to Capitola. 20 minute drive to Santa Cruz boardwalk. We found this vacation home nicer and better priced than many others in Santa Cruz.

Summary: We loved staying at Tiki Tides! Great location out of the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz. We rode our bikes to Capitola and Santa Cruz. Beach is walking distance from property. Clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room for 3 kids and 3 adults. Kitchen was easy to use. Hot tub was hot and ready when we arrived. We will be back!

Summary: This property is a perfect blend of coziness and charm. You can tell that the owners truly spent time creating a little oasis away from the world. The backyard is a wonderful sun trap with a hot tub. All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfy. High quality decor and bedding. The kitchen has everything you need. You are just a short walk from the beach or a 10 minute drive to Capitola with its amazing shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this property and we hope to be back soon!
