Summary: Tikazanou "Nice country cottage in stunning location 🙂 A charming country house, in a delightful location. The kitchen was ample and very well equipped, the sitting room had a very comfortable sofa, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage for hanging clothes up. Mortagne La Perche is a lovely place to stay, and there are country walks/hikes that can be done directly from the property. 🙁 Beware that the rental company actually takes a deposit in case you damage the property (this is in addition to the rental payment). In our case, it was taken from our credit card a few days before arrival, and we received it back about five days after our departure. It's not done in the same way that a car hire company puts a charge on the card but doesn't actually take it, so you really need to budget for it. If your credit card charges fees for overseas transactions, you will not get them back. I did not see this on the terms and conditions when we signed up, so a lesson for attention to detail!"
