Summary: A very good 'Tanzanian' hotel with branches in Dar es Salaam and in the far south of the country at Mtwara. Unlike other big hotels catering for tourists from outside Tanzania, this is not part of a multi-national chain. The staff are welcoming and efficient and there is a choice of room categories. A wide 'local' selection at the buffet breakfast is a satisfying start to your day. I have never before written a hotel review (although I have stayed in many) but with this I wanted to promote a hotel I have always been happy to stay in, and one that benefits the local economy more than most others.
