Positive: the kitchen was beautiful and very well equipped

Negative: Not being into horses or cattles, the whips at the wall were rather disturbing… the kids got a fright and started crying. Maybe something calmer at the wall would do it.

Positive: Rural quiet location, convenient for the nearby wedding we were attending. Spacious kitchen, drive for 2 cars.

Negative: No hand towels, towel rail not secure, very squeaky doors/beds. Not enough hot water for 4 people to have a shower.

Positive: We wanted a few days away somewhere peaceful with room for the five of us. This was perfect. A lovely house on a very pretty and quiet road next to a gentle river. Spotlesslessly clean with everything we needed and a lovely cream tea to welcome us too.

Negative: Not a problem for us because we wanted peace and quiet, but there's no mobile signal in the house. There is wifi though.

Positive: It was super clean, lovely location, we met the owner and she was very nice and accommodating to our needs, we had a small issue with security of the house and Jan responded quickly and dealt with the issue immediately.

Positive: The location was great all you could hear was the birds and the river running by the house on a quiet road the village was nice and lovely places to eat

Negative: one small thing the cottage sign could do with putting on the gate post as when the gate is open you cannot see the sign

We were able to get in touch with the owner of the property very easily. She was very kind and informative. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone going to Devon. Positive: Excellent location, very quiet. Great for dog as easy walk straight from cottage. Nice cottage with good sized rooms and recently refurbished kitchen and bathroom byblook of it

Negative: Poor instructions eg virtually nothing on recycling. Nothing on accessing WIFI. Only one black bin bag provided which wouldn't have been enough if there had been 4 of us.

Summary: Pretty good and will consider booking again.
