Positive: Bec was phenomenal in her passion and knowledge of the area. She made us feel welcome and safe. The accommodation was awesome but team made it so much more enjoyable !

Negative: I appreciate the need to not bring your own food and drinks due to licensing however it does add up when you stay there over a few nights. It was still very enjoyable though and I’d do it again! It actually in a way made the experience great because I didn’t have to think about cooking.

Negative: No complaints. This lodge is so unique that they are challenging to be self-sufficient in a beautiful yet severe nature. You are not paying for the luxury but the fascinating experience!

Positive: Totally surrounded by wilderness on the Central Plateau. Local walks and short drives gave us access to pristine wilderness from which to see native wildlife. A fun picnic excursion was wonderful beside a fishing shack and surrounded by silence. Magical. Gorgeous sunsets over a nearby lake.

Negative: It would’ve been good to have had access to the internet even for just a couple of hours am/pm to keep in touch with elderly relatives.
