Positive: Great place that we have stayed at before. Good rooms with everything you need. We had dinner and then relaxed with the owners having a great laugh. Quiet village but that is what we like. Will be returning

Positive: Great location for our needs. Friendly owners, helpful and welcoming. Lovely food and well kept beers. Cannot comment on breakfast as we opted out . Our room was clean and comfortable and our dog was made very welcome.

Negative: Cannot think of anything negative and if in the area we would stay again .

Summary: Fabulous overnight stay.

Positive: Location convenient. Room very dated. Toilet flush inadequate. Bothersome dog in the bar - belonged to the host, so couldn't do or say much. Meals OK but not exciting.

Negative: "Tiredness" of rooms. Also, very small and bed too narrow.

Summary: Adequate - just. Wouldn't bother again

Positive: On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We had drinks in the bar which had a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately we couldn't have dinner there due to our friends (who we were meeting) having a dog. Neither my husband or I eat breakfast. The views of the surrounding countryside are lovely. Nice driving along the quiet country lanes.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The Thornton Hunt is a quaint, traditional country inn. The owners were friendly and accommodating and the staff were also friendly and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the bed was comfortable. In all, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend the Thornton Hunt.
