Positive: Everything! Comfy cosy yurt with the most comfy futon beds. Outdoor space, bbq, fire pit and the games room were an added bonus. Great space for the kids to chill!!

Positive: Beautiful spacious yurt, with plenty of outside seating. We are a family of 5 (3 kids) and there was plenty room for all of us. We emailed ahead to ask about power sockets and request access to a kettle and small fridge, both if which were provided. The hosts also provided a travel cot for our baby. We had a medical emergency during our stay requiring an airlift off the island and Hannah and Joe could not have been more helpful, supporting with childcare, packing and transport to helipad. We're so grateful for their help. Despite this it was a lovely holiday in a stunning location. We will definitely be going back to Gigha!

Positive: The Yurt was in a great spot, right next to the shop and overlooking an attractive garden. The Yurt was nicely and authentically styled with plenty of useful items and a lovely wood fire. There was great outdoor furniture, crockery and blankets. How was a great host, easy with communication, helpful and friendly. He put himself out to assist us with various things, including opening the shop after hours for us to buy provisions. Gigha was a super island to visit and thoroughly recommend.

Negative: The shower room could do with a longer curtain.

Positive: Gigha is worth so much more than quickly nipping across from the mainland for a few hours and if you decide to make a few days of it then the Yurt could be for you. It’s really cozy when that little stove gets going and perhaps strangely one of my best memories of the trip was the wettest day, sitting by the stove reading and listening to the rain. The hosts made us very welcome and comfortable without being the least intrusive. The Post Office is right there if you need provisions, the Sea Food Shack is close by if you don’t fancy cooking and there’s a nice restaurant down at the quayside so that covers the catering pretty well. The yurt is a genuine Mongolian model as well with a story to tell about its journey to Gigha. Great fun.

Positive: Unique accomodation on Gigha - all in all a great glamping experience. Perfectly situated near ferry, restaurant, bike hire and shop. Very friendly and helpful hosts. It was our second time at the yurt and very very very happy yet again.

Negative: Tiny unheated exterior bathroom (but just as described), premises a bit messy (but the Yurt as such was nice and clean).

Summary: Wonderful glamping experience in an authentic Mongolian yurt - highly recoomended!
