Summary: Checked out early after 1 night. A very old building so we understood it wasn't set up to deal with the extreme heatwave but very concerned with the access to the room. Extremely steep and winding stairs to our room with no handrail to assist and I worried how we would evacuate in case of emergency. Smokers gathered in the garden and smoke rose into our room. No staff on site overnight but all the garden lights left on so it was very difficult to sleep.

Summary: We had such a wonderful time staying here. It’s the most beautiful property and the room was extremely well kept and cosy. The pub and gardens were great also. Would 1000% recommend

Summary: Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area
