Positive: I loved the peaceful and secluded location of The Woods Retreat — it felt like a perfect escape into nature. The property is beautifully maintained, with cozy cottages, scenic views, and lots of greenery around. The staff was very warm and attentive, and the food was also fresh and delicious. It’s an ideal place to relax and unwind, away from the city’s hustle.

Negative: While the overall experience was great, I felt the property could improve a bit on the Wi-Fi connectivity as it was too weak. Taking some important video calls is a challenge.

Summary: Wonderful stay in the best accommodation in Lansdowne . Nothing comes close to this.

Positive: Among beautiful pine forests, with wide balconies and French windows through which one can enjoy the view.

Negative: The room was a little inconvenient, with few surfaces on which to place things. A work desk would be a welcome addition. The place is rather far from Lansdowne town, which is fine — the secluded location adds to the charm — but you need a car to get anywhere. We also faced some problems when the property suddenly informed us they had cancelled our stay even though my card was on hold for the full payment with booking.com. On arrival, though, their behaviour was warm and courteous.

Summary: We had a comfortable and pleasant stay for 1.5 days. For the price per night, better facilities in the room are expected

Positive: Ideal location & scenic views. Rooms were spotless and the facilities were well maintained. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms with all necessary amenities. Friendly & efficient staff.

Negative: The hotel restaurant doesn’t have a diverse menu. We stayed there for two days and the buffet menu was same for BF/Lunch/Dinner. Some may not like the pahadi food taste.

Positive: The staff is very courteous and attentive. Location of the property.

Negative: Some of the food items are overpriced and portions are small. There's no soundproofing in the rooms, we were disturbed by the TV noise of the other room, even after several requests TV noise went up till 12am at night. Doors of both cabins 501 and 502 don't close unless they are slammed into. Which caused unnecessary disturbance early morning and late night.

Summary: Good but could be great.
