Positive: The bed was comfortable and quality sheets and bedding, food was great and plenty of it. Garden very pleasant .good showering facilities.the manager was kind and made us feel very welcome. All staff friendly and polite. The inn itself has very low beams in the restaurant are and all looked as it was in medieval times very interesting place if you like oldy worldy .

Negative: The room was a little bit small but we had everything there to be comfortable.

Positive: Breakfast included was very good. Choice of continental or cooked. I had a generous helping of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Negative: I was asked to check in by 5 pm as it was a Sunday and they obviously closed. This wasn’t a problem and I was given a key, but when I returned at 9.30 there was no body around
