Summary: Rooms were nice and comfortable. Car parking is convoluted. Service at bar and breakfast was non existent, which was a shame as the checkin experience was warm and welcoming

Summary: Room was spotless, staff were courteous. Breakfast was good and value for money. One criticism is the extra cost of parking £17 for 24hrs at the front of the hotel and £20 at the back. They then offer a free drink with this parking extra, but only offer - small red or white wine, cheapest glass of beer, non alcoholic drinks or tea or coffee. Not explained well, caused embarrassment at bar, plus for customers in the queue. Apart from that an enjoyable stay.

Summary: Friendly reception and bar staff. No lift so if you have a bag and trouble with the stairs, be aware. Think they upgraded my room which was lovely especially as my daughter joined me for one night. We were in room 15 and on our first night, I have no idea what was going on in the room above, but the floorboards were squeaky and there was movement almost all night. I don't know if they were decorating or just had jet lag but it was awful.

Summary: We were given a free room upgrade when we arrived, all the staff were very friendly, room very clean, breakfast very good. Hotel was in walking distance to the main street and the theatre we visited. On ly stayed one night but very pleased with everything.
