Positive: Everything!!!! Amazing place! The accommodation had everything you needed. It was so relaxing and I wished we had booked a second night to relax , before continuing our road trip. The hosts were wonderful and we helpful. I would 100% recommend!

Positive: Given that we knew it was a small space we were worried we would feel cramped but the owners have made excellent use of the space and you have everything you could possibly need. The outside space was also fantastic and well kept.

Negative: Nothing. I would stay here again.

Positive: Charming hosts. Friendly and welcoming. Loved the landscape. Loved the outdoor fire. There was a feeling of generosity. I would stay there again. I would recommend Windy Roost.

Negative: I thought everything was appropriate for the price and the specifications. In the interests of the host I would wish the specifications to be of a higher quality so that they are more robust for the wear and tear aspects that may arise from multi usage. I am sure that the practical hosts will have this covered with the possibility of future development which all takes time. Their effort all round hit the mark. Well done. Anne Strachan

Positive: The cabin was very well kitted out and very clean. The beds were comfy. The host was friendly and helpful. Everything was in good nearly new condition.

Negative: There was no milk when we arrived so we couldn't have a cup of tea till we got out to the shops. I expect it was just that the host had forgotten to supply it. The bunk bed was very close to the ceiling so my daughter on the top bunk kept hitting her head when she got up. There was no access to laundry facilities.

Summary: Great experience. We will be coming back next time we need to visit the area.
