Positive: Location was excellent for what we required, we were at an event at the International Centre, so only a 10 minute drive away. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable.

Negative: Parking is an issue. There is no off-road parking, and the road the property is on is not really suitable for parking on. We ended up having to park a good 5 minute walk away. The property is quite difficult to find when driving along the road, as it is set back from the road through a small gate in a wall, with a relatively small number plate affixed above the gate as the only identifier. This was easily missed when driving along the road.

Summary: Very comfortable, pleasant and in a great location. Shame about the parking situation.

Negative: The height of the entrance steps. With a bad knee I found it very difficult as there was no hand rails.

Positive: This is a beautiful dog friendly cottage in a great location. It is incredibly private, being located off the Main Street. The way the cottage is decorated is really lovely. The proximity to ironbridge is very good - walking distance to restaurants and tourist places of interest.

Negative: Nothing really. Only issue is that some of the boundary fencing needs replacing so we were unable to allow our dog to roam free in the garden.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage; it was a peaceful haven of tranquility whilst only moments from a bustling

Positive: It was a very private place and suited our purpose for the weekend, which was a Friends reunion. We like sitting in the garden.

Negative: The kitchen was very poor, not enough wine glasses or champagne flutes, oversized dining table so that you could not access the freezer. Crockery was chipped. Also in the garden they were only enough chairs for two people although the house was meant to be for six! The house was generally cold as it did not get any sunlight inside, but we were in there for May so it did not matter

Summary: We ate out for both our meals so did not use the kitchen for cooking, it would have really disappointed if we wanted to

Positive: The property was great for our family (including teenagers and a dog) as it was close to sites we wanted to visit in Ironbridge. It was clean and beautiful, with some outdoor space and a TV and comfortable sofas. The owners sent us useful information - we highly recommend the White Hart pub!

Negative: We are quite tall and found that stooping frequently to access the bathroom or bedrooms was not ideal. The kitchen was lovely, but the table was too large for the space. Some rooms could do with a dehumidifier as there is a possibility that they could get damp, and we could not leave windows open when we left to help with this.

Summary: Beautiful cosy cottage with easy access to great pubs and sites of interest.

Positive: The cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. It was a perfect location for getting into the centre of Ironbridge which had a fantastic selection of cafes, bars and restaurants

Negative: The low ceilings could be a problem and on booking people should be made aware of. The kitchen table and bench was a little too large for the kitchen meaning it wasn't easy to get in and out of the fridge and freezer. Some hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels would be helpful. Also, it was such a beautiful weekend weather wise but we had no chairs to sit outside in what is a beautiful, quiet outdoor space. The owners did bring us a little bistro table but since the house can sleep 6 it might be worth considering an option for this for those staying over the summer. All in all, it was truly lovely and would stay again. I just think a little bit more on the facilities...more utensils in the kitchen and bedside lamps in the bedrooms and it would be perfect.
