Positive: Lovely old country pub, superb atmosphere, evening meal exceedingly good and breakfast was excellent Ivan and his team made me feel welcome and the locals were welcoming too Room was clean and shower was good, WiFi was free and good.. excellent location and quiet.. I travel extensively for work and rarely leave reviews but I have made an exception for the White Hart.. top marks.. thank you

Positive: We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a lovely oldy world hotel /pub. The food was excellent. Over all a comfortable stay . One night.

Negative: The shower was a bit of a let down. Poor pressure. No doubt due to the age of the property we found it a bit grubby. Black around glass ,mold.

Negative: A few improvements could be made, toilet roll holder needed in bathroom of falconer room. Men’s toilet in bar/restaurant needs more regular cleaning, during the day. PIR switches are needed for the lighting in hallways and landings. Shampoo and shower gel plastic bottles were very awkward to use, and wasteful as liquid could not be recovered from container!

Summary: This trip was made excellent by the staff, nothing was too much for them, and food was exquisite.

Positive: The publican license holder is very knowledgeable about the area and a nice man. We enjoyed his brief company.

Negative: Our experience would be that you only take a small travel bag up to your room rather than try and lump big luggage upstairs. It cannot be helped because this is an older pre Victorian place that is authentic.
