Summary: The view from our room was beautiful , the overlooking the lake and marina. The room had a fireplace and beautiful jacuzzi. Hotel staff had to apologize for our booking’s mistake. My confirmation was for two queen beds, but this hotel only had two rooms total of that description, and both were occupied. We enjoyed our stay despite this mistake by the third party.

Summary: This hotel is in a perfect location- right on the water, but also close to town and the walking trail. Rooms are spacious and the balcony was great. The one thing I find challenging is the pet fee. They advertise as extremely pet friendly but then charge $30 per pet per night. This is much higher than anywhere I’ve ever stayed and quite prohibitive if you’re looking to stay for any length of time. I understand if you charge a little more, but for each night? And the pet was previously allowed to stay in the room alone for a couple hours, but apparently no more. If you are changing your policy and not allowing this, then the fee should be reduced as well.

Summary: The Weathervane Inn is a nice place to stay in a small quaint town. We upgraded to a waterfront room with a balcony on the first floor and enjoyed sitting and watching the area swans. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very large and clean. Beds are comfortable. We had a gas fireplace and a large Jacuzzi tub that we did not use. We would recommend staying here if in the area.
