We love all flora and fauna, and take great joy in wild spaces. The Wayward Innis surrounded by beautiful shade and flower gardens, a vegetable garden, and a small orchard. Itis a sanctuary for nature lovers. We practice permaculture, using compost from our chickens in the gardens,and incorporate native plants including sword ferns, cedar trees, and columbine. When in season, enjoy complimentary fresh produce from our garden — now that’s local!

Are you traveling with your furry best friend? We welcome up to two dogs per reservation. We charge a one-time fee of $25 per reservation to help cover the extra cleaning it requires.

Accessibility:Our unit has 15 stairs with varying gradients, and only a few steps have a handrail. If navigating stairs or using a deep soaker tub poses challenges for you, our space may not be suitable for your needs. Pets live on property: You may see our dog Norman or hear our chickens from time to time. They do not have access to your space.
Potential for noise: We live above the unit so you will hear us living our lives above you. This includes hearing our toddler and large dog (who rarely barks). We aren’t tap dancing above you but you will hear floorboards creak sometimes. Good news: we can't hear you and we are nearby if you need anything.
