Our place is a 10 minute drive to I-35/Ames. Restaurants & a park are within walking distance. This space is a flat above a detached garage and has a lovely, rustic charm and is separate from the main house. The living room has a pull-out couch, increasing guest size from 4 up to 6. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dining area and an outdoor grill.
This is not handicap accessible as it requires going up one flight of stairs.

Summary: We really loved the barn and how things were designed and decorated, it was very comfortable and cozy. Having a backyard with seating and a grill really came in handy as well! We highly recommend and plan on booking in the future when we come back to the area. The hosts were excellent and communicated right away.

Summary: We recently stayed at this cozy abode that was full if rustic farm house charm. We picked this location because it was close enough to get to Ames in 17 minutes. We were greated with a welcome sign and goodie basket with snacks and water. Overall stay was comfortable the rise of stairs are really steep and treads small which could be a safety concern for someone with mobility issues. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Lovely and cozy inside. Loved it. Little touches of thoughtfulness and easy to relax in. Stairs are a little steep and a little scary. Would be a great idea to give a little more explanation on where ally is, the number pad is touch sensitive and that you enter through the garage. Just mentioning that for future visitors.

Summary: This cute converted garage apartment was just perfect for my mother and me during our fall Iowa trip! When we had a little glitch with the heating unit, the owners were extremely responsive and helpful to make it nice and cozy for us. Would stay here again!
