Positive: Lovely wooden cabin in the woods, welcomed with a slate sign guiding us to the cabin. The cabin was easy to find from the main road with easy parking. The track is a typical farm track. A short gravel path down the cabin lit by festoon lights and the cabin itself was all you could ask for. A lovely kitchenette, en-suite shower room, log burning stove with fuel provided, and double bed inside. Outside a bath overlooking a field of sheep and some woodland. Lovely sympathetic lighting outside at night. The WiFi was perfectly adequate to watch movies on a phone or iPad

Negative: There weren’t any bad elements to this stay. Note there is a skylight above the bed which is lovely for looking at the stars at night but does mean you’ll wake with the sunrise (eye masks are provided to combat this). The kitchen has all you need for a short break to be able to cook (oven, hob, toaster and kettle). One utensil that would be a great addition would be a set of scissors however (if a set was present we couldn’t find them)

Positive: Parking was good Milk, tea and coffee (for the Nespresso) was provided Beds were really comfy Communal firepit was great Fraser is lovely
