Positive: Lovely pub and lovely staff. The owners were friendly and happy to be approached about anything. The location was fab. The village was nicely quiet, but close to shops etc and not far from Durham centre. The apartment was nice and cosy and soon got warm.

Negative: The radiator didn't work in the bathroom, which may have contributed (along with the weather) to there being some damp in the bathroom.

Positive: Good location, very quaint pub, apartment has been nicely restored. Very clean. Perfect for our short stay. Great to be able to have dog too. Pub was good too with great Sunday roast.

Negative: Nothing really as it met our needs for the weekend. Minor point - the main door to exit apartment was sticking and needs adjusting as it needed brute force to open.

Positive: Being attached to a very nice old pub has its advantages. Pop down for a drink or two, good food. They even deliver food to the room. Friendly and gracious host. This is a 2 bed apartment with fully equipped kitchen.

Negative: The entrance to the room is steep and narrow
