Summary: Staff are always lovely and food is amazing! I stay here for work as often as possible. Rooms are basic but very clean and pleasant and reasonably priced. Only negative is that the bar closes at 9pm and there are no shops locally that ive found in walking distance which is not the fault of the hotel but a little inconvenient if you forget something or want a cold drink before bed

Summary: The hotel and pub looked lovely and it was a comfortable room, however I had a couple of issues with cleanliness in my room. There were small marks on the duvet cover, which may not have been fresh but still make it appear used. There was also a dead spider in the bed when I pulled the duvet cover back completely. I tried to speak to someone at reception but there was no one there when I went down in the evening, or when I checked out in the morning.
