There is a Chevy Suburban provided to explore the island and bring your walking shoes to enjoy the seven miles of beautiful uninhabited beaches. Summary: The accommodations were just what we needed during this time to gather with family for funeral services for the matriarch of our family with no additional worries. e experienced air conditioning issues. Tod was readily available -by phone- to help us repair the problem, because no AC on Sapelo is extremely uncomfortable. We would recommend this property to future visitors.

Summary: Sapelo Island has always held a very special place in my heart. It is truly one of the unknown gems of the state, and I hope it stays that way. The history on the island is pure and untouched, as well as the culture| — if you want gift shops and boutiques, go to St Simons. We have stayed here a couple of times now, and absolutely love the tidal flat cottage. Tod met us at the ferry landing on the trip out, as always, he was very polite and courteous ( no surprise-his texts and phone calls prior to the stay were always polite, on point, and punctual.) The cottage was just as we remember from seven years ago- clean and orderly with everything we needed to enjoy an amazing family vacation (Once we figured out the dynamic of the coffee maker, and the fact that it did not have a decanter 😊). I honestly have zero negative feedback, there could have been nothing that would’ve made for a better stay.
