Positive: It's a cute idea, converting an old tailor shop.

Negative: The kitchen doesn't have sufficient pots and pans to make pasta for four. The pans are small and cheap. No potato masher. The bedroom hadn't been swept propoerly. We tore a sock on an exposed wood beam in the bedroom floor.

Summary: Host very helpful at check-in. The rental is passable—not worth the amount of money charged.

Positive: An elegant and creative adaption of a traditional Irish town space. Very convenient for either staying in town or exploring more of West Cork. Restful interiors, large modern bathroom and useful kitchen space ensure you have all you need. We loved it.

Positive: I loved this house, it's beautifully renovated, the interior is really special, all the rooms and beds and the outdoor space are very comfortable and so lovely and good quality. There was lovely bread, eggs, butter, milk when we arrived. The location is great, in the middle of town, and it wasn't overly noisy. We had fabulous trips to Cape Clear Island, Baltimore and Lough Ines, lots to do and see there in a very special part of the world.

Negative: There really was nothing at all I didn't like, it's a fabulous space, I highly recommend it.
