Positive: The house is very charming and cosy. The one bedroom is spacious. Downstairs, the living room is warm and comfortable. The WIFI is good and reliable. Cooking facitiries are excellent. Nice view over the contryside. Great location for exploring West Cork. Skibereen, the nearby town, has several really nice restaraunts.

Summary: A very enjoyable experience that will stay with me for a long time.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay in this loft. It was incredibly cozy, warm, and spotless, with beautiful and thoughtful decor that made the space feel special from the moment we arrived. We spent a stormy, rainy weekend here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect — relaxing on the couch next to the stove while the weather raged outside was pure comfort. At night, falling asleep to the gentle rumble of rain hitting the roof was so nourishing. Our host was very welcoming and always replied instantly to our questions and requests. A truly special place that turns rough weather into a memorable experience.

Positive: Everything! The apartment is so beautiful...very well built and decorated. So cosy and warm...the weather was awful while I was there. I was travelling alone for a full day workshop locally and didn't want to bother with going out. It was so nice to come back and chill here both evenings in front of the fire and telly. I had brought food with me, and there was everything I needed to cook, but you could have brought in a takeaway. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I recognised the little nespresso machine as the one I have at home for when I have visitors. The spiral staircase to the mezzanine sleeping area is a genius use of space, and the bed is very comfortable. I'm not tall, but a tall person might find it a bit difficult to stand...however I would not hold that against the place. The bathroom is modern and also has a washing machine. The shower was fabulous! Great water pressure. I am a cat lover and really enjoyed visits from their wandering feline. But that is entirely optional. It is right next to the owners property but completely separate with its own parking. I received immediate responses to all my inquiries before I arrived, and a welcome message when I got there. I felt reassured that I could reach out if I needed anything. I loved this little air B&B and will definitely stay here again. Although this time I was not sightseeing, it is very central to a lot of the beauty and history of West Cork. It would work very well as a base to explore the surrounding area. Loved it! Thank you Christine.

Negative: I honestly can't think of anything much. I'd arrive in daylight because the turn to the property is not obvious. That is not unusual with many rural properties. However, a call to Christine was all I needed that first time.

Negative: That we didn’t have time to stay longer! It’s truly a hidden gem!

Positive: Very good location to explore West Cork, quiet and a little out of the way but only two minutes to a major road. The house is very nice built and decorated and everything was clean and in place when we arrived. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

Negative: A small microwave oven would be a nice addition in the kitchen.

Positive: This place exceeded our expectations! It was set in a rural area away from all the hustle and bustle. The conversion from a stable to an accommodation was very well done. Everything was top quality and very welcoming. The owners certainly had guests in mind when they created this space. You have your own little section of the property with a small yard to the side and plenty of parking. Christine was so friendly and helpful. My only hesitation in telling the truth about this place is that it might get too busy and not be available on our next trip to Ireland. :) Everything you need, groceries, restaurants, etc. is just a short 15-20 minutes away. We decided to stay in and cook steaks, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a wonderful meal. I will definitely tell all my friends and family travelling to Ireland about this property.

Positive: Excellent base location to visit West Cork. The accommodation is very comfortable, private and has everything you need to relax. Christine made sure everything was perfect and was on hand if needed. Very highly recommended, you won’t find better.

Positive: Gorgeous, homely and spotlessly clean!! The house was our own to do whatever we wanted, even cooked our evening meal and brekkie the next morning, it was fab!

Negative: Nothing, it was just perfect, the hideaway we needed!!
