Summary: I don’t have enough words to describe just how beautiful this gorgeous bed and breakfast manor really is! Our room was elegantly decorated with antiques throughout and yet it was inviting and comfortable! The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub as well as a shower! There weren’t many other guests so we checked out the other rooms and all were just as amazing! The breakfasts were just brilliant! We felt completely pampered! I look forward to a return visit!

Summary: Hosts were terrific. Building is historic and convenient to everything. Food was great and they had free beer and wine! What's not to love. We hope to go back when it's decorated for Christmas

Summary: Our stay at The Swope Manor was magnificent! What’s a COMFORTABLE BED! Have not been that rested, comfortable and slept as late in years! Breakfast was delectable, with fresh fruit, French toast and sausages that left us ready to tackle the day. The property is beautifully maintained, with each room lovingly appointed, and again…THE BED (chefs kiss). We have an EV, so driving down from NY we were a bit concerned with keeping her battery full, but there was a charging station in the public parking garage right behind the property. The very convenient location of the manor made it possible for us to walk to the shops, restaurants and bars; necessitating driving only when touring the battlefields. The proprietors have thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and we would be thrilled to stay there again and again!
