Positive: On arrival staff were friendly and helpful, carried my suitcase to the room. Food excellent. Evening dinner - if felt as though staff were busy splitting themselves between roles, but I was happy with the service and attention. Breakfast staff excellent, attentive, helpful. The hotel has had a makeover since my last visit. It was great, liked the style very much. The bed and pillows were VERY comfy. The room facilities were great. The only thing I would improve on is maybe adding a tiny jug of milk, as there is a fridge in the room which could accommodate this. Equally, I could have asked for this myself, but didn't. The room had everything I needed.

Negative: Bathroom doors needs a little attention to the fitting of it. I should have mentioned this at the time, but didn't.

Summary: Great stay, stay every year, delighted that the improvement make it an even better stay.

Positive: Good menu for dinner good service rooms well decorated very clean.

Negative: Breakfast was not the best and the server was on her own. She was very very busy and was doing her best to cope. The room was very noisy and not well soundproofed, a shame because it was a beautifully decorated room.
