Summary: More of a b&b feel of an old renovated motel. No closets, counters, desks or dressers. Basically just beds and a bathroom. Clean but upstairs rooms smell like there was a fire at some point. Attached restaurant and bar is very convenient and food was very good.

Summary: WARNING: NO ELEVATOR and all the rooms are upstairs. The property is right on the beach but our room had a view of the parking lot for $220 a night. The rooms are decades older design with a large clean main room and small bathroom with virtually no counter space. The Mitsubishi split heat pump would not provide heat only cooling. Shower water was only lukewarm. This makes you appreciate the higher standards of the larger hotel chains such as Marriott or Hilton when they are available in the area.

Summary: If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great.
