Positive: The studio accommodation has been one of the best I've ever stayed in and had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Amazing shower facilities, separate WC and all the kitchen facilities you could need. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms and TV had every facility available and you just logged into your Prime or Netflix Account. Amazing grounds and wildlife including Snorkel the cute terrier.

Positive: Excellent stay, hosts are clearly very experienced and have thought of and provided everything you could possibly need! I had accidentally left my UK plug converter in my friend's car when they dropped us off; this could have been a small calamity as my phone would have run out of battery and we would have been stuck, but these hosts saved the day by having a UK plug converter already right there in the drawer! Everything we could possibly have a need for was provided and easy to find, and information about the apartment and the surrounding area was very clear. The hosts were also very easy to reach before our stay with some questions we had. Beds were comfortable with high-quality bedding. I enjoyed that the downstairs bedroom was completely dark and almost soundproof; this made for very sound sleeping. The apartment was spacious and well-built, with modern kitchen and shower. Staying on a country estate was lovely, there were peacocks walking around and the grounds were very nice. Breakfast items were provided free of charge, this was much appreciated as the location is fairly remote and would have taken a bit to get in town to eat something. We made ourselves a lovely breakfast with homegrown eggs, bread, butter, strawberries and other items. Hosts also offered to stock additional items at cost, but we didn't end up needing any. We only stayed three nights to attend a wedding and didn't have time to tour the grounds, but that would have also been wonderful. We did meet the hosts as we were leaving, and they were kind enough to tell us a bit about the house and their activities on the estate. Would stay again, and suitable for a relaxing long-term stay in the countryside while still being close to major attractions (rental car recommended in that case).

Negative: The only thing I didn't like, we encountered various spiders in the downstairs kitchen and shower areas (including one large one that had crept in between the towels overnight). Thankfully my husband was there to take care of it. I feel like it is to be expected in a forest area, but if I had been alone it would have been difficult. The rest of the apartment was spider-free. The downstairs bedroom was difficult to heat using the general heating system which provides warm air from the loft area but the heat tends to stay up; bedding was excellent however (fluffy down duvet was warm but not overly hot), so it didn't really bother me in the end. If we were to stay again, I would request a portable heater for that bedroom.

Positive: We had a lovely time staying at this property. The Studio itself was cozy, spotless as new, well-furnished, and beautifully decorated. The surroundings were also peaceful and delighful. Neil and Claire are great hosts, and their passion shows everywhere. The bouquets of flowers, basket of goods, handwritten card, the very detailed information notes, and their hospitality make you feel welcome. The details in the Studio are carefully thought. We chose the accommodation to explore places of interest in the wider area, but we didn't manage to go far as there were quite a lot of things to explore and visit nearby, and also lots of walking routes within a 15-minute drive.

Negative: Some of the facilities in The Studio would not be suitable for people with accessibility issues. But this is clear on the photos and it wasn't a problem for us.

Positive: We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The accommodation was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, very clean, and perfectly equipped. Positive: The Studio is located in the most beautiful grounds of a house mired in history. The house and grounds are breathtaking and the resident peacocks (including a rare white one) only make this place more enchanting. The Studio itself is beautifully furnished with cleverly chosen items of furniture perhaps to give you an inkling of what grandeur lies in the main house. The Studio kitchen is well and expensively equipped. There is a lot of space for clothes, cases, boots etc. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and provided a far too generous welcome basket filled with goodies that reflected the whole ethos of country living. We loved the game crisps with a glass of red and the locally baked brown loaf with an oozing local Brie. Alas we were not able to enjoy the eggs provide by the hosts’ chickens as our stay was far too short. All in all we had a lovely stay in a wonderfully unique accommodation.

Negative: The Studio has a bedroom on the ground floor with a standard double bed and a larger double on a mezzanine floor. The mezzanine floor is reached by ladder like stairs and while we could easily go up those stairs/ladder during the day, it would have been very tricky at night coming down those stairs. The shower and the loo are located away from the living and bedroom area, through the front porch and down a few steps. Taking this into account we could not make use of the bigger bed on the mezzanine floor. The bedroom on the ground floor felt far too small for two. Having said this we believe this is age related and younger guests will have no problem at all with the layout of the Studio or its facilities. Finally accessing the patio area for the Studio is a little hazardous up a slope with trays of food and wine.

Positive: What a lovely little escape this is, Neil nad Claire have created a little piece of heaven in their converted barn. Stayed for the week whilst woring in the area and out of all the places we have stayed for work, this is by far the best. Fresh eggs in the moring from their farm, a family of Peacocks to admire and the horses are amazing creatures, as hosts go they are so down to earth and can't do enough for you. Personal farm tours and just giving people the pleasure to enjoy what they have created. 100% recommended and if ever in the area again it will be the first place to try to book. Thank you Claire and Neil for the experiance. Dave and Ricky.
