Summary: My two-night stay was excellent. I appreciated the text message check in from the front desk asking how my stay has been and if I needed anything to make my stay better. My room was clean, the only thing that was a little inconvenient was the fact that my microwave was unplugged and I had to uncomfortably reach over and behind the writing desk and tv dresser stand to reach the power cord to plug it back in.

Summary: We called the day prior inquiring about an early check in. Ryan said it was booked solid and they can't guarantee early check ins, but he would keep his fingers crossed and think positive thoughts for it to happen. We got in at noon and Ryan's positive vibes worked and he was so wonderful and got us an outstanding room! Thursday night, I couldn't get my laptop to connect to the hotel WiFi but the bartender that night saved me and got it done! This was my 2nd stay in as many months and looking forward to our next visit!.

Summary: Old and tired to describe the carpeting, elevators, etc. is an understatement. Had to travel 9 hours the day I checked out without a shower because there was no water. It wasn’t a municipal issue. That should never happen. With the amount I paid for my room, I’d think there could be a more robust maintenance program.

Summary: The room is absolutely disgusting! There are stains all over the walls, ceiling and furniture. The couch is disgusting, there’s stains on the couch. The computer chair in the room looks like you picked it out of the trash and placed it in our room, it’s full of stains and it’s ripped. The wallpaper in the bedroom is peeling off the wall, there’s dirty finger prints on the ceiling. All the furniture is full of stains. I chose this venue for a special occasion and we came here after our wedding for our first stay as husband and wife. My wife walked in her dress, i still had my tux on… your staff was not welcoming and didn’t even say congratulations! To them We were just a regular guest checking in… i am highly disappointed in your staff, and the lack of quality control for the rooms. Your hotel took our special night from us, the most special night of our life that we will never get back! I paid almost $300 to stay in a run down furniture room full of stains on the walls and ceiling. I will be sure To never book a hotel room at the Strathallen Hotel again and share my negative experience with my family and friends to prevent them from disappointment, very disappointing for your brand.
