Positive: The accommodation was lovely and we received a lovely welcome. Tea coffee and milk was provided which was a lovely treat.

Negative: The area had very little amenities which ment we had to drive quite a bit.

Positive: Very quiet and peaceful, ample parking. Spacious living and sleeping areas. Milk in the fridge, tea/coffee available. Due to a ferry cancellation we didnt arrive until 4am, sofa bed was made up for arrival.

Negative: Curtains definitely needed at night for privacy in the living area, huge window faces the entrance of the complex. My son mentioned the bedroom socket ‘fizzed’ when he plugged the phone charger in.

Summary: Peaceful, helpful host, ample parking.

Positive: Spacious living area and separate bedroom. Plenty of heating. Bright spaces and plenty of seating. Easy parking and good access to the lovely small towns all around.

Negative: I prefer a walk in shower but the system worked well: hot water; heated towel rail and effective radiators. We didn’t need to use the wood-burning stove.

Summary: Wonderfully quiet and spacious home in beautiful countryside.
